The Indiana Wine Fair is one of Indiana’s oldest and largest wine events. For more than a decade, Indiana’s vintners have descended upon the little town of Story, Indiana, on the last Saturday of April to dole out one-ounce pours of their finest Reislings, Malbecs and Cabernets to an appreciative audience. Admission to the festival is limited to persons at least 21 years of age. The price is $30 at the gate if you intend to imbibe ($10 if you are a designated driver). The first 4,000 people under General Admission will receive a Story Inn keepsake wine glass.
We offer free shuttle service from the Nashville Courthouse at 20 E. Main in downtown Nashville. The shuttle from Nashville starts at noon and runs every 15 minutes. Our “Bacchus Bus” offers round-trip shuttle service from the Orange Lot at the IU Stadium. The Bacchus Bus leaves Orange Lot at NOON. The Bacchus Bus leaves Story Inn’s parking lot at 7:00 pm and returns to Orange Lot about 8:00 pm. Cost is $20 and tickets can be bought HERE.
The Wine Fair will go on, rain or shine. All of the tastings will occur under roof.
There will be plenty of food and great live music. NO COOLERS PLEASE! You may purchase bottles of wine directly from the wineries for consumption off-premises. Parking is free.
