Our estate-grown Knobstone Reserve is an intense, fortified red wine. During maceration brandy is added to kill off yeast, arrest the fermentation, and preserve the natural sugars produced in the grapes. Knobstone Reserve is made from 100% Chambourcin grapes.
The wine is aged for a minimum of five years in oak barrels. This process yields a bold, fruity dessert wine bursting with fruit and complexity. Enjoy the plum, fig, and caramel notes of this wine after dinner or with your favorite desert.
